Cleanup 2024- 9:30 am, Duck Island Lamberton Road

Registration time: 9:30 am

Volunteers will check in with cleanup organizers at the parking area for Duck Island. Cleanup effort will be along the tidal area of the Delaware River. If you are an adventurous volunteer, please wear high boots or waders. It will be low tide during the cleanup and there will be an opportunity to retrieve litter that is in the mud.

Directions to Duck Island:

From Route 29 South, take the Duck Island/Lamberton Road exit. Follow Lamberton to its end, passing New Warehouse construction site (formerly PSEG) and oil tanks along the way.

From Route 29 North, take the Duck Island/Lamberton Road exit. You will first be on Canal Boulevard. At a t-intersection, turn left (south) onto Lamberton Road. Follow Lamberton Road to its end, passing New Warehouse construction site (formerly PSEG) and oil tanks along the way.

 

*Note: On some maps Canal Boulevard is called Lamberton Road Connector.

Restrictions: Families are welcome for the clean up, with at least 1 adult per 3 children under 13. 
All volunteers must sign a Volunteer Cleanup/Image Use Waiver; please print out, complete, and sign the waiver below for each participant and bring with you to the cleanup.
